A sanctuary – SafeHouse is located just a short walk from a pristine sandy beach in Dolphin Bay where you can also enjoy a breath-taking view of the mountains of Sam Roi Yot National Park, directly behind the facility. The surroundings are astonishingly inspiring and up-lifting. Just what clients need to start their new journey, as they awaken to the wonders of the natural world around them, they begin an awakening of their very own.

The Facility – Occupies a spacious, open property with 15 private rooms that offer the ultimate in privacy and security. Each residence has all the amenities one should expect from a luxury retreat, including wi-fi, flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, and comfortable luxury beds. A crystal-clear salt-water swimming pool surrounded by a well-groomed, lush landscape completes the picture.

Walk into the facility, and you’ll see open meeting rooms for group therapy and team sessions, while modern, private rooms are reserved for one-on-one counselling.

Our caring professional staff provide a personal treatment program around the nuances of each individual’s history and recovery needs. Although the core processes such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) are shared by all, individual One-On-One therapies are always tailored to suit the individual.

Thailand is known as the World’s Kitchen for a reason. Thai chefs make magic with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, creating meals that delight the senses and nourish body and soul. Meals are joyful experiences, blending Thai and Western cuisine into a fusion of bountiful variety and goodness.

Nourishing meals are part of the re-discovery of a healthier lifestyle, including a fitness routine that starts with a walk along the beach, then perhaps a swim in the warm waters of Dolphin Bay, or even exploring the trails in the local national park.

The Modern Approach – Today’s abuse environment is radically different than it was even a few years ago. It’s a fact that multiple addictions are the norm rather than the exception.

The staff bring Best Practice principles to the process: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and ad hoc counselling as the need arises.

Another quality that is as important as the skills and experience: empathy for the whole human being. Creating a welcoming Safe House in which to recover was our mission from the beginning. In fact, many of the staff are recovering people themselves. They’ve been there, and they know how the clients feel as they embark on their journey.

A Typical Day at Hua Hin – A tranquil and warm environment allows for a blend of deeply relaxing “non-activity” such as Yoga on the beach or Mindfulness Meditation. More active pursuits such as swimming in the warm waters of Dolphin Bay, walking on the beach or cycling around makes for a most enjoyable day. Above all, a it’s about balance of therapeutic work in group or individual settings, healthy meals and social dining experiences, and a relaxed approach to re-gaining the fitness the clients will need going forward.

Medical Care – SafeHouse Rehab is fully Licensed by the Ministry of Public Health Thailand.

There are onsite medical staff and work closely with fully accredited international hospitals to provide further medical care as required.

The Strongest Aftercare Program – Let’s face it, a month or two invested in treatment, and perhaps longer, is no guarantee that a client will stay clean and sober for very long unless he or she takes on the responsibility for managing their own sobriety program. The individual must “own” their own recovery.

But clients can’t just be discharged and let out there on their own. Safe House calls it WeCareTM and it consists of a complete kit of material to guide the post-treatment process, plus access to the counsellors on an as-needed basis, for as long as the clients need them.

Cost of Treatment – Please note that the fees are US$14,950 for a full 30day treatment program.

The package includes all meals, laundry, and transfers to and from Bangkok Airport. There are no other costs involved. Outpatient detox is also included, however, in the rare case that inpatient care is required, this will need to be paid by the client direct to the hospital.
